Series PZ, PZi, PZiG Pulse Metering Pumps

Manual control PZ:

Manual control PZ Models allow speed adjustment from 15 to 300 strokes per minute (20 to 1 turndown).

Automatic control PZi4:

Automatic control PZi4 Models allow manual or automatic adjustment of speed from 1 to 300 strokes per minute plus manual stroke length adjustment from 50 to 100 percent (600 to 1 turndown). All models accept analog (4-20 mADC) input or pulse signal input to automatically adjust speed.

Automatic models include:

• External interlock for level switch, remote start, etc.
• Operational display shows speed or operational status.
• Pulse signal frequency division 1/1 to 1/9999 or multiplication 1 to 9999.

All models:

• 300 strokes per minute operation insures uniform chemical distribution even at low feed rates.
• Chemical delivery is constant at any single phase voltage from 94 to 264 VAC, 50/60 Hz and is unaffected by voltage fluctuations.
• Water proof and UV resistant – IP 65

Accessories included with each pump:

Foot valve strainer, back pressure check valve with injection quill, 4 ft suction tubing, 10 ft discharge tubing, 3 ft air release tubing, power cord and 3-prong plug. Automatic models include signal cable with multi-pin connector.

Min and max capacities/flow rate range:

0.01 gph (0.05 mL/min) to 20.6 gph (1300 mL/min)



Type PZD/PZi-32/52 High Capacity Models

PZD Series pumps offer higher capacities. These models feature an extra large keyboard and the injection rate can be entered directly in milliliters per minute.
The injection rate can be set three ways by direct entry of:
– Stroke speed: 1 to 300 spm
– Percentage: 1 to 100%
– Injection rate: ml/min.

  • Onboard calibration measures the actual discharge volume under the exact operating condition of the specific installation and chemical, then stores that value to insure the correct injection rate.
  • Manual stroke length adjustment 20% to 100%.
  • Set points can be easily viewed on the LCD.
  • Pump head may be rotated to face in any of the three positions other than where the keypad and display are located.
  • Pump head can be decoupled from the controller base for remote mounting.
Type PZiG Programmable Large Volume Models

PZiG Models offer capacities typically requiring motor driven pumps. Special models easily handle viscosities of 1000 CPS (up to 4000 CPS at reduced volume). Powerful onboard controls allow proportional flow rate, pH and residual chlorine control by direct analog connection eliminating the PID Controller and Inverter (plus the control panel to house them), that are required by similar sized motor driven pumps.

The injection rate can be set three ways by direct entry of:
– Stroke speed: 1 to 300 spm
– Percentage: 1 to 100%
– Injection rate: ml/min.

  • Manual stroke length adjustment 20% to 100%.
